Continue on to Aspendos, situated on the banks of the Köprüçay River. The theatre of Aspendos is one of the best-preserved examples of Roman theatre architecture in the world. Walk up its tiered steps and admire the beauty of its galleries, which are still in use today.
After lunch, explore the ancient ruins of Side, which date from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine eras. Walk through the ancient city to admire its fountains, city walls, agora, amphitheatre, marble columns, and much more. The most spectacular sight is the temple of Apollo, where you can take in stunning views over the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
